Default NASA decisions

what should they do? no more spaceships like Columbia? a new kind of ship? staying around the earth or going to Mars.
for 45 years now, we've been in the neighbourood of the earth. let's go to the moon, put a base on it, then go to Mars. it's what they gotta do

They r currently building a Space station (or so they told us when we over there). But it'll take about 200 years to finish....

So I'm not getting too exited about it.

Columbia was about 20 years old, and they new before it even took off that there where problems with it. All they have to do in future is run more safety checks before take-off and re-enrty.

I also remember when they sent the probe to Mars, can't remember it's name, but they said they'd send people to Mars in roughly 2008, so that would be cool.

Its nine months to travel to mars but humans can only last about three without body problems so when they got there they would have no muscels (SP?) and there bones would be weak theyd just crumple under martain g.

well I know the NASA is sending these little robot to mars around June. ( there is a god link for interested people: http://sse.jpl.nasa.gov/missions/mar...ars-smlan.html )

they said its the first step before considering actually sending real people there!

But I've heard the German were going to send a empty shuttle in december 2003 to take picture of mars and them they will send human. see: http://www.esa.int/export/esaCP/index.html
