sounds much better than "Deutschland, Deutschland über alles" don't you think?

but I like the Quebec joke version better(after all some of us are separatist!)...

We have the most hidious NA. At least other countries sing about their countries, are's is just about one woman....one woman a lot of people resent.

I just find it funny, when you watch a load of skin heads at England football kings spontaniously singing 'God save the queen', before they go out and trash whichever city they're in!

This verse is not a part of your anthem anymore since after WWII. It starts with the second verse "Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit für das Deutsche Vaterland ... ".
