actually about the same a Black History Month. I don't see why we can't something like that for the Native Americans. There is so much that the average person does not know. What's sad to me, is most people think of the Native American in a historical sense...instead of the fact the NA is still very much around. I see so much that is wrong about the way the Native American is treated. I won't go into details because that would take all day.
Let's just say, we as a country need to educate ourselves as just what was done and stop hiding behind the lies the Government has fed us all these years. |
no ones denying that they were pretty much shat on by America but if uw ant to do somethign y not do something productive and help them? having a day might raise some awareness and make them feel wanted but thats not exactly doing something is it?
