Do you mean dive as in scuba? Yes you can dive here. The Jersey shore, especially in the summer, is great for all sorts of water athletics. Take a look at a map of the coast - lots of inlets and islands and bays. The water is also quite warm (in the summer only) due to the gulf stream that comes up the coast and brings with it warm southern water. In the winter is is like any other cold, northern ocean.

From what I can tell - many American girls go for English accents of all sorts. Most of the girls wouldn't know one kind of English accent from another.

a journo from UK once wrote upon visiting Jersey that NJ was the like Essex in England ..... it wasnt written in a good light....

there is a good travel book that you can buy from ebay usually , its called Lonely Planet New York and New Jersey , it contains all info about most towns, including maps, train and bus info also with a few pics.

I hope to visit NJ also.

Kev, you are lucky if Kathleen and Mouse will show you around. You'll probably never see the real Jersey otherwise.

I've seen Jersey only from the top of the WTC and when I suggested going there, my sister in law who lives in Manhattan just gave me a stare and told me they weren't 'bridge and tunnel people'. I took that as a 'no'.

I am sure there are nice places in Jersey, though, but it's better with a local tourguide
