Very nice picture, well joined.

Allwyn, the black strip is to save cropping the image, since it was made up from (I guess) 6 seperate shots, and to remove the black areas would mean losing parts of the image

Yeah, I took the pics. And it really is 6 different pictures. I used a software called Autostitch by the University of British Columbia to do it. Came out pretty well I think.

I don't suppose that is free software? I've tried a few programs and they tend to be crap, the colours never blend properly, I find it best to do them manually, though it can take ages.

This is one of my best, done manually.

I did this one with Jasc PhotoAlbum I think, one of the few that was done with a program and looks pretty good.
