This thread contained warnings and wasn't even as graphic as the smilies post.....which despite my posts here being edited today stil remains and hasn't been deleted.

If there was a clear set of rules somewhere on the site concerning these matters then we would all be able to see specifically what Peter says on it, it just seems that different moderators have their own opinions on this.

Neil - it's obvious that policies are made for the future. You don't expect people to go back and moderate threads that have already been dropped, do you? And that smilies thread has been seen by everyone already, so what would be the use now?

But Brooke did tell you - from now on the policy of the board is NO nude pics. Do you need it written down in the FAQ section or advertised when you join the board?

Exactly. Different mods do have different opinions, but Peter has already stated in the past that no nudity is the rule, and at this point in time that is what the mods have decided to stictly follow. The confusion in the past was due to the warning that Ice posted along with the fact that it was a link and not the picture itself. But at this point in time the decision has been made to not allow any nudity along with any links to nudity.

I never posted an image. I posted a link saying you shouldn't click it if you're offended by nudity. Posting an image and THEN saying it contains nudity isn't really helpful, is it?

As for nudity in general, I think a discussion should be held. There's nothing wrong with it, as long as no one's forced to look at pictures they don't want to see.

Well Kev deleted my postes before anyone got to see them but I put something like

The same that you did with yours. If someone is offended by it they see it labelled and then shouldn't open it, but obviously the board rules don't allow it anyway, and apparently the one you did caused arguments between them, lol

Then I don't see what the fuss is about. Are we surrounded by prudes?

EDIT: Oh and what's the defenition of "nudity"? A nipple? Male or female? Pubic hair? Buttocks? Just wondering...

Well apparently female nipples constitute nudity but not male nipples, and buttock seems fine to post.

I don't intentionally post pictures to start arguments or such, with these ones I posted today I specifically wrote the warning with them as I thought that it would be OK to post them like that.

Personally I find someone wearing a tiny bikini to be more provocative and sexy than someone who is just nude, as the person wearing the bikini has the allure of the forbidden or something like that, otherwise it's just nature.

I have asked this question to Peter, as in the past he has already said that nude images posted directly on the site are prohibited. As for links with warnings, I really don't know his thoughts about it.
