The cases I cited don't necessarily justify separate schools. I mentioned them so you'd perhaps understand why it might be necessary for this type of school to be offered for students. However, I also provided an argument--where I wrote about the establishment of magnet schools--which may justify separate schools.
Do you know the people who came up with the idea of creating a separate school for gay kids? How do you know that none of them are straight?
Not all civil rights activists agree with one another. I'm sure that while some might support this idea of making sure that safe spaces are created so that all students can receive an education, others--for various reasons--have differing opinions.
