Its a shame, he should have come back to the Premiership to prove himself. Looks like he choose money over ambition.
He chose 'being the best in America by a long shot and getting paid zillions for it' over 'not being the best in the Premiership'

he doesn't need the money and he'd still get paid a fortune in england where he could still play with the big boys and try to prove himself as one of the all time greats.

as it stands he's shown himself to care more about money than what he's supposed to love.

Who cares, he's overrated, over paid and 95%hype, 5% substance. Not captain material, never was, never will be. The further away we keep him and his pouting stick thin missus as far away from the premiership the better.

I think hes done the right thing , i mean who in their right mind who chose to live in a shit hole of a country like this over living in LA where he'll be treated like a king? £70,000 a day sounds nice to me as well. Also it will hopefuly get those americans interested in football instead of those other sissy games they play and might produce some more good players .

Extremely overpaid. That's all I can say. He's already established himself (or at least his name) over in the States, so it's going to be the easiest job in the world.
