Mwahahaha! Boohoo Chelsea!

The funny thing is the REAL test will be Fulham next week. After they grabbed a point against Man City yesterday, they'll be buoyed and go to Stamford Bridge thinking they can get something. Chelsea will no doubt be having further doubts and confidence issues and, with the propsect of their three year 100% home record at stake, they may well bottle it!

What's up with scottish football?

Scotland beats France twice in the Euro qualifiers.
Rangers comes to Lyon and wins 3-0.
Celtic beats the 2007 Champs.

Greater times ahead?

Anyway thanks for the inspiration given to Marseille who just did a "Scot" to Liverpool with a great win at Anfield. Great defense, some luck and a rare goal. Who would have thought Marseille, with just two wins in all competitions this year, ranked 16th in the French league, would be the first French team to win at Anfield? Not me. I'm even happier. Great start for the new coach Eric Gerets.

celtic are in some deep shit and will be lucky to see those points.

some arse from their crowd ran on and attacked dida in the last few minutes of the game.

i've not seen the incident and the commentators (who in all fairness are obviously backing the scottish team) said dida appeared to ham it up but either way, the guy is playing a footrball match and the last thing he's expecting is some drunk wanker coming up and laying his hands on him even if he didnt hit him that hard.

as for the initial question. i dunno why were doing well as a nation. walter smith's no longer constrained by the 3 foreigner rule so that obviously contributes in europe

celtic just tend to do great at home in europe but theor away form is deplorable. even if they dont lose points for this, they'll need to win every home game to stand a chance.

as for the national team we've got alot of talented youngsters with some real class experienced guys like davie weir and barry ferguson to lead them plus alex mc;eish always fared better against european opposition than domestic.
