Feyenoord just bought van Bronckhorst, Makaay, Hofland & De Cler in last 2 days, with all the talents they are having at the moment (best potential of Holland), and the above experience they are suddenly running for championship with 11 Dutch players while the last few seasons sucked, this year not even European football.

I'm happy

It is a very sad day for me. My favorite player has left my favorite team because the managers bought one of the players I disklike most. Sir Roy Makaay has left Bayern Munich after scoring impressive 102 goals in somewhat more than 170 games for Bayern Munich. Instead, Miroslav Klose will wear the Red-White Jersey. This is disgusting.

In any case. Thank you Roy for 4 wonderful years. It was a pleasure to see you play and score. The best game was Champions League 2004:

Roy Makaay vs. Ajax Amsterdam 4-0. And not to forget the fastest goal ever, against Madrid just a few weeks ago. Why he had to leave I don't understand. he would have fitted perfectly in the dream team we have built up.

Luca Toni
Franck Ribery
Ze Roberto
Jose Ernesto Sosa
Marcell Jansen
Klose

Van Bommel
Schweinsteiger
Lucio
Sagnol
Kahn
Van Buyten
Lahm
Podolski

If only Makaay and Hargreaves were still in....

van bronkhorst went to feyenoord :-S that's a major step down imo. no offense intended of course.

rangers have got off their arse and started signing players this week

should be interesting, celtic have bought in a bunch of young scottish talent. we've picked up a guy from bordaux and are trying for one of his team mates and beasley (sp?) from the US.

well Liverpool better hurry there arse up and sign a few players, Torres is looking like the main target, if they get him, liverpool really will be challenging on all fronts!

as for the Bhoys, im not actually up on who they are in for or who they have got but they better keep hold of nakurama or they are in trouble

I still think £16 million is a joke.....considering we got rid of Veira for much more 2 seasons ago.

Ah well, I wish him all the best. Just hope Arsene pulls something out of the bag for us to be a great team again

I can't believe we are keeping Tevez - he's an amazing player but the rumoured £115,000 a week salary is obsene - almost as bad as paying Lucas Neill £80,000 a week.

Let's hope this season is better than last - the key will be having a squad that actually wants to play well and win, fingers crossed.
