1-1 - great news for everyone... unless you're a Liverpool fan!

Poor performance. Skrtel and Hyypia do not work at the back together. Gerrard was just poor apart from his goal. Riera was awful, Torres was decent but should of scored, Keane was poor too.

I do think we were the better side.. just. Saying that, both teams played crap.
Not happy with the result really, now the league has just opened for Man Utd to go even further ahead.

I'd sooner us of won the game today than win on Sunday.

ouch, i reckon Liverpool deserved to have won that one. Everton rarely threatened (especially inside the box). I can see Everton taking great confidence from this game and going on to win the cup match.
And where was Gerrad all game? Especially the first half he was nowhere to be seen, i'd have thought he'd be all fired up for this one!

Oh well, a good result from our perspective, keeps Everton at bay and lets uus get a little bit closer to Liverpool
(Although expect us to go flying down the table for the mext few games now that Ashley Young is suspended!! )

Gerrard was terrible. Most of our players were to be honest. If Everton do win the cup game, i won't be too bothered. I just want us to focus on the league and champions league.

I thought it was funny how Kaka rejected the move then the executive of Man City(Not sure what his title is) said that they thought about commercial aspects, fans and the results on the pitch and decided Kaka would not suit them.
