I have hardly ever had such a rollercoaster ride watching a football game except the CL finals of 99 and 08 - that was just something else! F*ckin' hell it's games like that that make you realise how much you love football!

Great game to watch as well.

i can't believe it, i'm absoloutly gutted!

On the plus side, overall we played great. The first time in ages where everybody really 'put in a shift' rather than just Petrov, Carew, and L.Young. Ashley Young had his best game for literally months, and Agbonlahor finally scored again!

Really proud of the performance, but gutted with the result. we deserved something.

Nah, In the last 3 games, we've came from 7 points away to just 1.

That's really good and I think it will make the last few games exciting.

^ I agree, it has made it very interesting and, although part of me obviously wishes it was more a case of plain sailing for United, ultimately this sort of drama is what football's all about.

Forget the corporate crap and sickeningly overpaid players and get down to teams scrapping away for points at the closing stages of the season to see who'll come out on top (at both ends of the table and in every division) - that's the heart and soul of the competition.

As long as the games keep trickling away, I'm happy to match Liverpool and Chelsea's results. It's getting to the stage where United could afford to slip up a little more and still have a chance. However, with so few games left, if Chelsea or Liverpool drop any more points, it could be over - that has been said before though and look where we're at now!!

I hope United take this game as a wake-up call and get some of their first choice players back to full fitness. If we manage a good result against Porto on Tuesday, hopefully the confidence will start to flow again after the minor setback a few weeks ago against the team that are going to finish second this year.

Ha, definitely. I just said to the wife that this'll be the first time in what feels like months that I will be able to watch MOTD with a smile on my face!

Yep.

Liverpool play before you next week though, so hopefully, if we win, the pressure will be on Man U again.

I've never enjoyed Match Of the Day since last season.

Worrying fact: Newcastle United haven't won at home since December 21st 2008. **** me.
