No because they were still playing. Once that goal went in, they might aswell of walked off the pitch.

Why? As I said before, they were still 2-1 up at that point!?!?

If they played in a way that made you think they may as well have walked off the pitch, then again as I said before, they deserved the thumping they got. How can you call yourself a professional if you cannot handle a bad refereeing decision - they are an unfortunate but unavoidable part of the game. At the end of the day, the players are paid more than enough to not throw their dummies out of the pram if a decision goes against them especially if they are still leading the game after conceding the dubious goal.

Put it this way, would Liverpool have crumbled so pathetically if they had been in Tottenham's place?

Because they all were fuming from the decision and it would of been hard to put there minds back on track.

Liverpool & Tottenham are 2 different teams.

The professional attitude of any team should be the same.

Should be... but didn't look like it.

Good to see Gerrard back.

If Newcastle get anything from this game, I think the title's over for Liverpool. The only thing that means it's still in the balance is the goal difference at the moment IMO.

I really hope Newcastle survive and if that effectively means ending Liverpool's title hopes in the process, it'll be a good day today!

If we draw or lose any game, the title race is over imo.

2-0

Playing well here, Kuyt is having a great game. 2 brilliant shots from Agger & Alonso. Kuyt's finish was really good, defence should of picked him up but still a great finish.
