also something that really confuses me sometimes is when they want to say, for example, "too good" but they write "to good".... have you noticed?

It all gets very confusing doesn't it?? Never really understood it all. We used to just have breakfast, lunch and dinner, but when I lived in Walsall all of a sudden my dinner was in the afternoon... oh well, it keeps us on our toes right!!

Stuck-up Southern London-Uptown Upper-class toff... in the north (ie for me) it's breakfast, dinner then tea (personally i'd have thought "tea" would be more of your thing down there)...

as for supper - well i never have it, but if you really want it save it for about 11pm

i say dinner for lunch (midday) and supper (evening), i just use dinner as the general word for main meals (not little meals like breakfast and tea), and i think i'll have to take the walrus's side here...
