In Belgium everyone is a donor, however you can sign out if you wish so. Still when you bring thins on when someone dies, esp. someone young, it is a shock for family members and most of them don't want it. We had a young guy who hung himself last weekend and we saved him (were there just in time, he was breathing as soon as we ventilated and had a heartbeat) but he's braindead, and his parents refuse to have his organs donated. I understand that and respect that, still is it all worth it? He could save some lives, but I can understand the parents point, except it's false hope...
They can use my organs however.
