Did you ever see this English tv series called The darling buds of May? She's on it, and she's very young, but amazingly beautiful! I loved the show, and that was the first time I ever heard of her. Then she was on Catherine the Great (the movie), too, before her big stardom. It's funny to see those shown these days, she looks so young, and still the same...

I dont know much about the movie. But I watched enough specials on it to know my way around, .

The musical parts take place in the main characters head (the blonde one - Im not gonna spell her name.. haha). Its a murder story pretty much, based on fact - but fictionalized. The girls are made more as stand-up-for-the-rights women and not crazy-lunatic women that they are based on. Instead of mass murderers, they are heroines. Strange - but I have yet too see it, if I do. But it looks awesome. And very much so much congrats to Catherine Zeta-Jones, I've always thought she was pretty.

Gere is the lawyer for the blond.. Zellewger.. or something (haha - im a terrible speller.. haha.. im sorry..).

Thats pretty much all I know. Well Catherine and the musical person (Queen Latefia.. or something - haha.. again, im sorry) are jailmates with Zellewger.. (oh dear).

I probably just made you more confused - ah well... Looks awesome though.

I saw Chicago and actually really love the movie. ( i was fortunate enough to also see the real musical in NewYork back some years ago!) well I can say the movie is a really good rendering of what Chicago looked like on Broadway. This is in part why I liked that movie. It has the fell of a real musical.

I also thought that the dancing ( i do a little bit of ballet) was really good. Dancing for a camera is really hard. You can be a good dancer on s stage but dancing in front of a camera is really different. You need talent, you need to feel the camera, and you also need a good technical team.( by the way, just seeing Richard Gere tap dancing is worth seeing the movie. he is really good!)

As for the singing, i was impressed with Rene and Catherine voice. Also, Queen Latifah did a great song.

anyway, i think it is worth seeing the movie
