That really depends, for different people it's very different. English is a very easy language to study and to learn, and especially to a quite an advanced level. Afterwards it gets more difficult, when you go more deeply into the language, but it is a very easy language to learn. For me, German is almost impossible to master, it's such a difficult language to learn. I think with English, the first few years are easy, and then it gets difficult, whereas in German the first few years are difficult, but when you get that foundation it becomes easier.

I can swear in Spanish, Portugese and Japanese. I picked it up when I was 12, and whenever I wanted to swear I just said it in another language so that my teachers/parents couldn't get me into trouble
