I used to think that about English people drinking tea during the summer months, but when I was there a cup of tea felt good any time, even on those hottish days. One of my fondest memories (and quite abstract too) is drinking tea at twilight in and English house, looking out of the sitting room window A very cosy feeling

I've no kettle but do drink lots of tea!
Or...you can have tea from those lovely vending machines...if you have them at work of course...I have to say I find coffee from the vending machines at work not so disgusting...
It must be better than the one we get from our veding machine at work. It just tastes like... better not to say what it tastes like, but you can imagine :P

The best way to cool down when you are hot is to drink something hot. It is really bad for your body to drink cold drinks in hot weather.

Yes, I know, but that's something I'll never understand. What these days of "99 in the shade" I feel like drinking are cold drinks, nothing hot. Everything hot just puts me off. And I know people in the desert drink tea, but I just don't understand it and can't do it

Do you know why is it bad?

very cold drinks can lead to a groove in your stomach, and through the groove the cold liquid gets into your bowels. your stomach emits the liquid not fast enough and prevents you from taking in enough liquid.

i hope that makes sense its hard for me to explain it in english
