Oh, thanks Jana for the explanation. I see what you mean but my brain sort of refuses to believe that. But anyway, sweating is good for your body if you drink enough not to dehydrate, isn't it?

Anywa, what I think my body craves is cold water, so...

it isn't weird at all. If you drink hot drinks, your body will think you are hot and try to cool itself. If you drink cold drinks, your body thinks you are cold and will work harder to keep you warm - hence making you even hotter.

Try drinking tea - it works.

I always drink hot coffee on hot days when everybody else orders the frozen drinks - people always look at me funny hehe.

Blast from the past!

I got a kettle for Christmas and I'm terribly excited. I had wanted one for ages, silly as that sounds (they're not so common over here). The mug-in-microwave system wasn't bad but this is so much better! I feel like boiling water all the time

Ditto!

I spent a good many years trying to like the taste of coffee but the closer I've come to is vanilla coffee, which I love but can't be ask for at any café. Tea is usually quite bad in cafés here too, hence my unsuccessful efforts to like coffee in general. Thank goodness we have Starbucks these days where tea is lovely!
