That depends. When you open an account at paypal you will receive a 4 digit code on your credit card receipt. So if you just received it, you have to wait before the new one comes. If you have that 4 digit code you can go to paypal and verify your account.

As far as I know you can close the account if you would like that.

problem with paypal (in the uk) is that it takes 10 days for the money to go from them to your account

not always Goose, I get mine with 5 days, depends what day you send it on.

Mine always takes that long, with hsbc, never got it earlier despite what day I use it on :/
