I've had to do it in the past, when we where arguing over Crush and Bounce, because you didn't seem to understand "My Opinion", because I like them.

Okay, lets get this straight, Jon tries to talk weird. I mean that entire Southern twang thing is odd. I have voiced my opinion about this before. :P Nobody else spoke like that in Sayreville!!! Including myself for that matter. Although my husband, who is from NY, says I talk funny.
Oh my gosh! You've noticed it too. Jon TOTALLY has a Southern accent at times. I'm not talking West Virginia accent here, but sometimes, especially on stage, he has a Southern drawl. But Jon speaks differently now than he used to. You listen to those OLD interviews and he had such a Jersey twang. Most of the time in interviews he has a complete lack of an accent (as professional speakers/actors should).

On the subjects of pet peeves and word butchering, I HATE HATE HATE when Richie says wanTED. It drives me up a wall. I also hate to hear the following: CathoLICism, ChiCARgo, HOTlanta, and KuboTO for KuboTA. There are more that I can't think of off the top of my head.

My other pet peeves are people who wear fragrance and when someone puts a roll of toilet tissue on "backward" which I define as having it roll out behind the roll, or close to the wall. It should roll over and not be near the wall.

I used to say "ChiCARgo", all the time, Becky. It's taken me forever to learn to pronounce it correctly.

The C loosed the K sound when you add the "ism" and it should roll off the tongue like caTHOLicism.

I don't like that either, maybe because i can be slow at things like that. The first time i see some new abbreviation, i'm sitting at the computer looking at the screen, with a dumbstruck look on my face for about an hour until i figure out something like IMO - took me forever.

Rap is a big pet peeve of mine...i can't stand it ... but to everyone who is a fan of rap, my bad ( sorry, Mike - i couldn't help it )

Rap sucks.

Plus, it is taking over the world.

I wonder if I could be a rapper and make lots of money. Talent isn't really necessary!
