and people are inventing words which have nothing to do with the original meaning (be it english or german).... for example "handy" for mobile phone

Yeah I've heard about handy in German. Here you can hear "night" (meaning a strip club), rockstar (as in a famous singer, even Madonnna), sexy shop (as in sex shop lol!). Every time I hear a "suspect" word on tv I ask my mom "do you know what that means?". 99% of times the answer is no. Makes you wonder what the average 70-year-old makes out of what they say

Stop Lights. Yes, I know they are actually called Traffic lights...but in my case stop lights fit. I must have some sort of transmitter on my car somewhere, that when I approach a light, it turns red. Every single time, I end up catching the light!

If it is too annoying, then just go straight through them like some idiots on the road do.

"What lights?"

*Crunch*

At least they are thinning out the gene pool.

I have the solution to your problem: move to Naples, nobody stops at a red light there, everybody drives through and the faster you are the sooner you go (or the less you care about your car's health lol). No wonder cars are all wrecked there :P
