I saw a show once where they were showing an 18 year old girl being scared of Clowns. I laughing my ass off!! She was crying and running around like a little 5 year old. I don't get why they are say scary! I love Clowns.

Good to know that you'd be laughing at me instead of helping..
Anyway, why I fear clowns.. don't know. Never liked them as a child, it was the one part of the circus show that I would crawl on my dad's lap and try and hide, but I think it was enhanced after reading Stephen King's It. I always thought that clowns were hiding something sinister and that they were not as they appeared to be. Like I said, I'm just glad I don't really come across them in daily life!

I know someone who has a phobia of dwarves! He works in a restaurant and a party of 10 dwarves walked in and he refused to leave the kitchen!

I also had a fear of clowns... and then for marching band, we had a circus theme show... I had to dress like a clown for the whole thing! Not a fun experience at all.. but at least now they don't creep me out so much.
