btw does anyone remember the one where Rabbit grew to love that little bird as his own and was trying to teach it to fly ....

or the one where Pooh gets stuck in Rabbit's tree and he puts a picture frame around him, flowers, etc ?

my childhood is coming back to me - although ironically i always associate Winnie the Pooh with the hairdressers since they used to show it often while i had my hair cut, and also because while i waited for my mum to have hers cut i used to colour in the "winnie the pooh" colouring books she'd bought me

and speaking of blasts from the past - just over a week ago my mum woke me up at 7am and asked if we had Winnie the Pooh on cassette :s... I think THAT, Sooty, the Flumps, Willow the Whisp and a couple of other cartoons, programmes defined my childhood

Teletubbies - bah, tshish - rubbish

I think there might be men in white coats waiting to take us away at the end of the film.

i used to have winnie the pooh and the blustery day. the bit when tigger came into his house in the middle of the night then bounced away into the dark forest used to freak me out for some reason.

i can't believe how similar my tv upbringing was to many of you!

Paint the whole world with a ... rainbow

I still have the Rainbow activity books in the loft (and Winne the Pooh) - i never ever get rid of anything from my childhood! And won't let anyone else do it either! books, toys... you name it

Geoffrey from Rainbow Tash was stacking shelves in "Quik Save" i think last time i heard

Matthew has some sort of disease of the blood - circulation problems

and Sooty has gone downhill since they tried to make it TOO popular, introduced new characters (Little Cousin Scampy ) and a whole plethora of twenty-something "friends" acting like 13 year olds
