Yes, your right. But his show showed that from just 1 healthy meal a day their health improved a lot. Some of the kids had to have an inhailer every lunch time because their asthma was so bad, but as soon as they started eating his lunches that stopped.
Some of the kids had constipation for six weeks and because they had so much rubbish in them their bodies couldn't take it and they were throwing upi not only what was in their stomach but in their intestines and rectum (bascically throwing up sh*t).
If you had to put up with that (as a child or in your jobs such as a doctor) you would be happy for just one healthy meal a day.

So you wouldn't consider that as a form of child abuse? Kids being fed so much rubbish that they are throwing up shit as you said.

No because that doesn't happen in every case. The parents, yes they are lazt but they don't know any better- they don't read what is in the meals they are buying. With the schools i think that part of it is laziness and part of it is lack of money. So this is neglegance by the goverment. The dinnerladies don't have proper training and they only have 37p per child- it's not intentional, it's the goverments fault for not providing enough money.

For a start I think that fast food chains should be banned from advertising, as their product is just as harmful as smoking, which can no longer be advertised, and also has large health warning on the product itself.

Again, the schools are trying their best and as far as I know here, they don't have vending machines anymore but bad eatign starts in the home, I've seen people give toddlers bottles of irn bru to shut them up instead of a dummy....

If you're brought up eating crap (that's most likely, addictive too) then it's kinda hard to stop, especially at that age.

Plus kids need to exercise alot more instead of playing their playstations and watching TV all night.
I agree Kids dont exercize enough but then its hard to let them out at this age with the threat of them being kidnapped and raped . I think its going to take alot to change things around but as a nation we've got to eat alot more healthier
Bah I don't pay digs at all here and my mum puts up with all of my crap so I think I'll stay put.

I disagree about the not letting kids out thing. They need a certain amount of protection but if my mum didn't let me go out and play football every night or get up to the usual trouble teenage boys do then I'd be unfit too and much less socially comfortable and confident with other's if that's the proper way to put it. People in who tend not to go out alot are the ones who are more introverted and find social situations hard to cope with as opposed to people who are out mingling all the time.

There's been what, about 5 child murders in the UK in the past few year? 5 too many but it's not exactly a case of kids being picked up left, right and centre.
Jim I'm talking about 9 year olds, not teenagers .But its not just murders its all the creeps that go afdter kids for sex. There are 9 know sex offerenders round here so i just dont want to risk it.
