Default Pollen: the powder from hell

I wish it would rain so some of this mess would go away! Who else is in a pollen-covered area right now?

Becky

The temperature is still below freezing here so no pollen yet. Ask me in a month or so and I will probably be miserable.

Same here. All our cars are covered in yellow pollen. I can't breathe half the time and my eyes itch so much I want to claw them out sometimes. My boss keeps asking me if I'm OK because my eyes are always red and it looks like I've been crying. He doesn't understand allergies. I hate this time of year.

Mouse is right - I live with allergies too and Flonase helps. The yellow-green pollen is not yet here but it will be soon. When it comes it makes lots of people miserable.

Only hearing the word sends shivers down my spine! Luckily, the levels of it around here are not very high yet. But I'm dreading the time when I won't be able to part with my tissue and I'll be sneezing non-stop, and having a dore throat and feeling tired and... Well, you get the picture!

How many days left till autumn then?

As for Flonase - it makes me sooooo sleepy I can't take it if I want to actually do something apart from lying on my bed (or wherever actually)

Flonase is where its at. Our kitchen looks like a drug store this time of year. Any allegry medicine out there, chances are really good its in my house. Of course, this doesn't help me since I'm at school. But like I said, everything is still frozen here.
