I have a Panasonic Lumix myself - just a cheap, bottom of the range one - and the low-light mode on that is pretty terrible. They do have damn good video modes on them though - some of the higher range ones will shoot in HD! The video mode was mostly why I bought this Lumix actually (not HD, but as good as DVD) mostly for concerts, and I did get some good videos with it (some on here)

I know this is literally the most embarrassing question I can ask on the board, but how the **** do I post photos?

The couple of times I've tried I've only managed a link that members alone can see.

I know it's been answered before. I know it's probably somewhere in the FAQ. **** it. Getting old.

You can't use HTML code here but can use BB code. If you can write your image code in HTML fine then you can use a simple online convertor - http://www.seabreezecomputers.com/html2bbcode/

Alternately just learn to use the image code, of course. A simple image is just -

[ img ] http://www.website.com/image.jpg [ / img ]

Or if you wanted to use an image as a hyperlink then you'd do something like -

[ url = http://www.website.com ] [ img ] http://www.website.com/image.jpg [ / img ] [ / url ]

Obviously without the spaces. I tried putting this into the tags but it wouldn't work, oddly.

Default A little closer

I still don't have a proper macro lens, but using some cheap extension tubes I can manage to get some pretty good detail...

A silver ring, with the green reflecting from below -

The inner rim of a CD (Lost Highway, specifically) -

An HB pencil -

The screen of my phone, again with green reflecting a little (actually reflecting from the lens onto the screen) -

Default Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

To many people this won't seem like much, but we've not had this much snow in 3 years...
