I took these photographs during my school trip in Barcelona two years ago. The first and the second are from Montserrat, a small monastery situated somewhere on top of Barcelona. The last one is a view on Barcelona.

I felt like a change today and took some vertical panoramas, instead of my usual horizontal kind -

If you don't mind me asking.. How do you take shots like that?

You have to take multiple, overlapping shots and then feed them into a stitching program. Even the latest few versions of Photoshop have a 'photomerge' option. I've used plenty different programs before - Arcsoft Panorama Maker, PTGui, AutoPano Pro, Autostitch - and they all have their plus and minus points. I love doing panoramas
