A tree next to my uni building that is about 7 storeys high, I thought it looked quite nice today against the blue sky and think I managed to capture it pretty well






The sun was quite high when I took this, it was around 11:15am, but my shadow still looks oddly stretched, though it made for an interesting effect I thought

I love the close up duck (goose?) picture Neil - there's a lot of detail you don't usually get to see.

Well the brown ones with the black heads are Canadian geese I believe, and the white one is a swan. I took a lot of photos that afternoon but it was very dull and none of them would stay still so most of my shots were blurred I planned to go back yesterday afternoon but it was raining and very windy.
