it was a very clear view of the eclipse, loads of people were taking pics here to. Do you know why it gives the appearance of being red ? I cant remember.

...WoW Neil those are amazing photos!...I took quite a few..and a couple I was going to post here...but I don't think I will now! lol...The colours when the moon was eclpised are incredible..and the moon looks so 3D..Thanks for sharing them!

I managed to get a few shots of the red moon just when a small clear patch was moving over the moon, but they aren't quite sharp. And these are almost 100% crops, so the quality ain't perfect.
