when it comes to beaches i prefer the ionian islands. from the aegean sea islands (the ones i have been to) i only liked milos' beaches. but you can never miss the crowd - unless you have a boat or something.

Well yes, it's crowded...but believe me, beaches in Italy are way more crowded that that!! About the red thing...it's ok for one day or two, it's really strange. I prefere white beaches too
I found a couple in Paros and they were just great!
