Product Design Coursework

I was wondering if any of you would be nice enough to help me with this.

I set my own brief; to design a new peripheral for the PlayStation 2 console, and I chose a lightsaber.

For this work I have to do research into other products, and into things such as ergonomics and anthropometrics.


What I would like is for you to post your personal reviews of the PlayStation 2 Dual Shock 2 controller. You can comment on how it looks and how it feels to use.

Short version: I like it. I didn't at first, you need a lot of finesse using it, but once you learn that it's great. Some bad points: the buttons on the top (XOetc.) could be bit bigger or have longer movement. The "shock" system itself works pretty good. It could have more resistance, though.
