Proof that Baseball fans r passionate

And people in Connecticut too. Most of the people I know there are Yankees fans. Just because we're from New England doesn't mean we like the New England team.

Not a major league team, no. Most states don't have one. Though California has 5.

Well - say what you want about the Yankees greed - and I can sometimes agree with you too - but they played their hearts out against Boston. It certainly wasn't an automatic win because George spent lots of money on the team. It was a good matchup and a great ALCS. We'll see about the World Series and how interesting it is once the play starts. Remember - last year the most expensive team in baseball got their as*es kicked by a bunch of kids from Anaheim, Calif.

Like I said...boring, tired, and washed out with little interest outside the tri-state area.

The thing is though, I don't care if other people think it is boring. They are a NY team, and they are very good. Now I have somebody to root for, so the heck with everyone else in the country. George built that team from nothing. It's not like it happened over night, and as Kathleen said, there are other big budget teams out there that can't do a darn thing. They won't be on top forever, but I will enjoy it while they are. If everyone else is jealous right now, so be it. They should be.

Tell me why, when people state they don't like something...the pat answer is to say they are "jealous?" Jealousy doesn't figure in to it. Well, maybe for some, but not all. Don't be so quick to assume that people are jealous of the Yankees. There are some good reasons that the Yankees are disliked, but Yankees fans don't see it and just chalk it up to the old reason jealousy.

Hehehe..why do you ask that I say people are jealous? Because I am a Met fan and jealous of the Yankees. LOL They have an awesome record right now, and the fans should be proud. As I have said before, it won't always be that way so the fans want to enjoy it while they can. Plus, they have one of the nicest captains in baseball. I have never seen someone be so diplomatic all of the time.
