I only saw a small clip of the footage and by what you said im glad. Iraq says now its going to comply with the geneva rule. But its a little late now as they have already broadcast there faces (against the rule) and by the looks of things tortured them. It makes me sick.
Glad you brought this up.

How about all the Iraqi soldiers surrendering and being search lying on the ground? That surely qualifies as a violation as well.

How about the US violating UN Charter? I laughed like hell when Rumsfeld and Bush started whining about the Geneva convention. Iraq stated they need to examine if the captured soldiers can be treated as POWs or not a couple of days ago... what war? It's an unprovoked attack, an invasion! They are dropping bombs on them and yelling "treat us nice" at the same time???

There should be a rule of war like "Don't attack an opponent 100 times less powerful than yourself, pick one of your own size!"
Or how about the hundreds of people from Afghanistan being held in Guantanamo Bay, where the US refuses to give them POW status, and where many of them are most likely innocent civilians who just got caught up in it all? They don't want to give them POW status because then that gives them rights.

And? They knew what they were signing up for when they joined. Do you feel as sad for the many innocent Iraqis that have been murdered by coallition bombs? Or for a young Iraqi child that will now be paralized for the rest of her life because of the bombing?
why didn't the iraqi civilians leave Baghdad? they had to of know that bombing was coming

Yes, they could just go to their villa on the coast for a few weeks while the coallition forces bomb their home city. Hell, why not make it a month and have an extended vacation?

you're right. the iraqi soldiers were not being treated well, too.

To be perfectly honest im not going to say much on that topic. We dont know what is happening to the iraqi prisoners of war where as iraq broadcast there pow's on tv and they were scared shit less there was most definitaly torture of some sort involved. And as for the drop bombs and treat us nice then i have to agree with you, i really cant see how there could be rules in a war but i hope they begin to (will they hell).

actually thats quite legitimate, for instance look at America. If you are suspected of some kind of crime, or have committed a crime - even a minor one like going through a red light - they point guns at you and make you lie on the road, or bend over the car
