hmmm, maybe I don't understand you correctly.

I have no problem downloading the tracks onto iTunes. The problem is that iTunes will not acquire the appropriate license for those tracks - hence the copied tracks are distorted. It makes no difference if I copy them straight from the CD or from my media player - the tracks cannot be copied without a license - they can, but no correctly, hence you cannot listen to them.

My iTunes will just go out and detect all wmp files and convert them into iTunes files. No problem there in general. For the few that actually require a license, though, the tracks are distorted.
