The X-Box is not a computer games console; it is a squashed down PC. That is why the graphics are better, and it has more processing power than (ie) the PS2.

The PS2 is not a computer games console; it is a home entertainment system. It can play PSX and PS2 games, audio CD's and DVD's; as well as having USB inputs for chaining dozens of peripherals (mice, keyboards, camera's etc).

However, the PS2 is closer to being a games console than the X-Box is.


I can't wait for the PS3...it will probably only be released in 2005, but it should be fantastic.

i'll be 21 by then. need to start behaving and hang up the cowboy hat

yeah my cowboy hat is hanging by my bedside...havent rocked with it for long time.....
