Default Question for people in the Atlanta area

I hope Mr. Sambo is reading this since he's familar with Atlanta, but anyone else who knows, please chime in.... Have you ever been to the music mid-town festival? If so, what was it like? How long did headlining acts play? Is it a bring your own lawn chair event?

its like Memphis in May or Nashville River Stages. except its more crowded and harder to get around. and atlanta usually has more hip-hop acts than the other two. but the same artists generally play all 3 because they used to be on the same weekend. i guess you could bring a lawn chair, but most people stand up and if you have a chair you'll be either shoved to the back or wont be able to see

Okay, thanks. At Montgomery City Fest, lawn chairs were the norm. There here hundreds of them set up at the break of dawn by people who planned to claim their spot for the concerts.
