I used to a while back but they've stopped now. When i was a real young kid, i dreamt that there was someone in old fashioned (late 1800's, early 1900's) dress that were in this strange field thing with one big tree and a huge, round hill. Whenever she'd start walking/skipping/running down the hill with her shade umbrella, she'd fall right through the earth as if the ground were only an illusion.
I'd also have a lot about me and my family trapped in this one big castle thing...i never know what happens to the rest of my family, but my brother and i are trapped in this one room with HUGE checkered tiles, only the black tiles weren't there - and my brother fell through when we were trying to get out.
I also had quite a bit of dreams about this one dinosaur that lived in my house, but my parents didn't know about it that one was pretty **** up.

I have recurring themes in my dreams, but not necessarily the same exact dream all the time.

According to somet theories you can stop a recurring dream. If the dream is indeed indicative of a problem you're working on subconsciously, solve the problem and the dream will go away. LOL Or you could try hypnotherapy to recall the dream and tackle it with your conscious mind to understand it.

I would interpret the dream you described as being about some situation in your life that you're trying to control and have a loose grip on. It's putting you in danger either physically or emtionally.

I've only been going to bed at 3 recently, but only if there's something good on TV, lol.

thats fairly normal... and you tend to not remember them if thats the case...

one reason im an insomniac is that i have nightmares all the time, so by delaying sleep i dont remember them the next day generally, only when they wake me up.

I tend not to remember my dreams...or if I do remember, the details are really sketchy. That was always the worst part when I was a kid. My parents would ask "What was the nightmare about" and I could never explain it

I had really bad nightmares as a child. I think that as a child you tend to have more nightmares than when you get older for some reason. Most of the dreams adults and young adults have are just wierd ones that cant be easily explained. I'm glad I havent had any recurring dreams, because the latest dream I've had (a few days ago) was so weird and just full of crap that it's just stupid.. Scared me senseless though because someone was in my dream that I find amazingly creepy.

It wouldnt be such a good time for me to have a nightmare either, with such weird things happening to me in the physical world. I would seriously be scared to fall asleep for at least a week. I'm already afraid of the bathroom.
