Some names are almost a form of child abuse. :P

Or what about Chris MArtin and Gwyneth Paltrow, naming their poor kid Apple?!!
I think Apple is just nasty!! It is such a sexless name. I don't mind weird names, but at least let it either be a girl and boy name!

Everyone can call their child what they want, but some of these are plainly doing it as an attention seeker or because they are completely out of their minds Don't they know the jokes Jermajesty is going to have to face? That's just cruel. I'll get a normal, commonplace name anyday.

And calling your children Diezel and Denim sounds quite offensive to me too

In Denmark we mostly spell Christopher like this: Christoffer
A couple of years ago a woman wanted to call her son this but instead of 2 F's she wanted 2 PH's - like this: Christophpher

I think the case went to court and everything, but I don't remember how it ended. But what's really the point in 2 PH's? Poor kid...

I don't think we have that many weird names here, because if you want your kid baptized in the common Danish church (which is Lutheranian), the name has to be acknowledged by the church. You can't be called Freedom or Moon Unit or something crazy like that

I get the feeling that in America you can call your kid whatever you want...?

I have the same impression! The weirdest names I've ever heard are the ones that have the poor kids of the American celebrities

Celebrity kids names are fine... they're going to be loaded, and have all the best opotunites... It's the kids of parents who both work to scrape a living together who are going to be screwed

and rightfully so. Why on earth would the church dictate me what name I can give my child?! Ludicrous.

Remember, just because a name sounds weird to one person doesn't make the name a weird name.

my little cousin goes to school with two sisters : named De-ja and Ja-vu. Get it Dejavu! That is just bad! I also remeber reading on the backstage board someone posted about Lemonjello and Orangejello. And Gwenyth naming her kid Apple? What is the next one gonna be named Banana? Strawberry? Mango? Poor kids!

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3
