Default Remember ...

Today it's the first of November and it's the day we remember our beloved persons we lost in death ... Well, at least we do that in belgium ... don't know about the other countries??? Most people take flowers to the graves then ... Personally I think we should do it more often in a year. A lot of people don't go to it the whole year and then the first of november, suddenly everyone is going.

I started this topic because I wanted to remember 3 persons I lost in the past 3 years ... I think they deserve it that their name is said again.

As you might know, it's the same in France .... and most of the friends or members of family i lost found death between the end of october and beginning of November. Of course we don't "need" a day to remember, but we can't think of something else really today .....

It's not as celebrated here in Canada. I know in the Catholic religion they place emphasis on honouring the dead, but that is about it. Its a pity though.

Well, 11th November in the UK is Remembrance Day, where we honour those lost in the First World War

Yeah, we celebrate Remembrance Day too. There's always big ceremonies in Ottawa. I went one year to see it. Just incredible. Thousands upon thousands of people. They did a 21 gun salute and had 21 figher planes fly over. Do you just celebrate those lost in WW1 or is it for all the wars?
