The "communist horrors" are a myth. There were bad things happening, but the pope didn't save anyone from it. And he did forbid the use of condoms just like any contraceptives. There is no denying that, and you also can't deny the fact that it's caused a lot of deaths.

If you won't believe me, which you obviously won't, then ask AIDS worker, nurse, doctor or non-catholic missionary who's worked in Africa. Go ask them, and then tell me I'm wrong. Or better yet, go there and see for yourself.
