Let's spend the night together ... for £150

THE Rolling Stones are demanding the highest ticket price of any concert ever staged in Scotland - a massive £150.
The incredible ticket price for two shows at Glasgow's SECC far outstrips the sums commanded by other top acts when they play the city.
Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts roll into Glasgow on their Forty Licks tour for concerts at the SECC on September 1 and 3.
They plan to transform the 8500-capacity Hall 4 into what is being described as an "intimate nightclub venue".
But even the 'cheap' seats have been priced at £85, far in excess of the prices demanded by headline acts like U2, Eminem and Coldplay.
One insider said: "It's all down to touchability. The £150 seats are for the rows at the front which put you within touching distance of Mick Jagger.
"And remember, the Stones normally play huge stadium venues in front of 60,000 people, so this is really quite a small audience.
"These prices are becoming increasingly normal for venues in London. The price looks high because not too many big names bother to venture as far north as Glasgow."
Once a booking fee and postal charges are applied to the £150 price, the final bill for a ticket could approach £200.
The cash will go some way to fitting out a luxurious 'chill-out' area for the band, celebrating their 40th year together.
A neighbouring 5000-capacity hall, which is big enough to stage concerts, will be adapted to provide the last word in luxury for the band's millionaire members, with a snooker room, gym and restaurant.
Chefs will be specially flown in to provide a feast of lobster, roast beef and smoked salmon and the group have insisted on their favourite drinks of champagne, Jack Daniels and Guinness.
Expensive as they are, the Glasgow tickets fall far short of the prices being demanded for the Stones' first tour of China.
Front row seats will go on sale at an incredible £475 - a local worker's annual wage.
Tickets for the Stones' Glasgow shows go on public sale on Friday, March 21.
However, a spokeswoman for the SECC said: "Prices have still to be confirmed."

They always charge extraordinary prices for their tickets. I could never see them because of this!

To be honest, I think the Stones nowerdays are just far too overated. I've seen DVD's from recent (i.e past 10 years) tours, and they've all been totally uninspiring.....

Use the money to fly over to America next year and see one of the 'three bills'...... I'm guessing they'll be one, and the Scorpions will probably do it with somebody like Bad Company, and Malmsteen
