I'd say a bottle is a bottle, you can put anything in it.

Bathrooms generally contain more than a bath.

Bedrooms contain more than beds.


And I don't know how we came to call music systems hi-fi's or stereos. Hi-fi = High Fidelity....yes, I just bought a new High Fidelity. Stereo = 2 channels of audio...yes, I just bought 2 channels of audio.

a bottle of coke is a bottle, a bottle of evian is a bottle. a bottle for the sole purpose of taking to the gym, some form of exercise or on a bike is a water bottle.
