greece in the final! for the greek fans that's of course fantastic, for most others i think it was a disappointing game, where the team won that didn't do anything for 90 minutes.

and does anybody else think that collina has never been as bad as he was today? so many more then only doubtful desicions and all against the czecks (not saying that the changed the result in any way, but still i thought he had a really bad day, he's usually just great!)

Greece reaches the final...

Congrats to them, I have to say their game, though boring to watch, is very efficient.
I feel sad for the Czech Republic though, they deserved better.
Anyone else think the Greeks getting 48 hours more of rest is unfair? (just like Portugal compared to Holland)

Anyway, I hope Portugal wins this tournament now.

A football journalist has just said "Football has dead". Oporto won Champions League. Greece will win Euro 2004. This is a kind of joke. Especially Greece, a defence-team, horrible football. Bah.

Come on Portugal, save football.

Porto played some good football to win the Champions league. I agree that Greece is a boring team to watch, but it's not because the bigger teams do not win the competition that football is dead. France, Italy, Spain and such could and should have played much better than they did. Not all of them fell against Greece.

See mreto, even the best ref in the world can have a bad day and make some poor decisions - a bit like that Swiss plonker last week!

I have to say I tipped Greece to win and I really think they can beat Portugal on Sunday - they've done it once, they can do it again!

I'd love to see a team that was given no hope before the tournament being the surprise victors in the hosts' own back yard!

It doesn't matter which way you play as long as you score. And Greece did play well, esp. in the extra time.

Mainly because the Czechs were exhausted, with 48 hours less than the Greeks to rest between the quarters and the semis. Whatever the teams at this stage, the schedule for this tournament is a pretty poor one.

True, but in the end, the team scoring more will win. I'm not saying that Czech isn't a better team normally, but today Greece was better. They deserved to win.
