Change the constitution!! No rights for individuals to chose full fat milk!
A right to make a personal choice regarding one's health is the same as force-feeding children unhealthy quantities of marginally healthy food? The same as attempting to scare elderly people to death? Where did you get these equations from?

And like I said, while I support the right off all individuals to drink whatever kind of milk they want, it's no-fat skim for me.

Never thought I'd be mock-arguing over the right to drink various types of milk. To the uninformed observer, this coversation must be extremely strange.

that is right - tastes ALMOST like water ---- hence it is the only milk I can handle LOL....... (and even that only in rare bizarre instances)

No way! Skimmed milk taste great. It used to taste like water but not anymore. Here it is normal to drink milk with breakfast and lunch... so I can understand Adrian with this one!

Precisely! Do you not see that supporting the rights of people to batter the elderly is just as abhorrent even if you don’t partake of the practise yourself… the same paradigm rings true with the milk issue.

Mock??? MOCK?? (throws light furniture and small children randomly about the room) what could be more real than the choice of milk and its health repercussions?

As for the views of the “The uninformed observer” I dread to think how many people could fall into that category … I’m more than weirded out myself and I’m in the debate… Though truth be told I think I’ll have to fold on this occasion as I’ve never been able to stomach moving onto semi-skimmed or skimmed milk for any length of time… too watery for me. I’m afraid I’m a full-fat hypocrite and proud… but on the up-side for you guys I’ll probably drop dead years before the rest of ya.

But given that scaring and battering the eldery is harmful to the eldery, that's not really a "right." Your right to swing your fist ends at my nose, except when I'm threatening you. Now, I don't want to cut off your hand so you can't punch me (though you could hit me with the stump...), I'd just prefer that you never swing your fists without good reason. AND scaring the elderly is something you do TO someone else, drinking milk affects just you!

That's the problem with you anti-milkers...you just want choices for yourselves. The average man on the street gets restricted to one or two types - For safety's sake! For the children! - but you guys get any kind of milk you want. The criminal get's the milk he wants too, and always will, laws or no, but the law abiding citizen is prevented from getting it. Dang hypocrites.

I think I just made a rather significant point there.

Adrian
