Err... I think 600x350 is way too big for a sig pic! If you're on a 800x600 it takes almost half the screen!

Have you tried looking at this topic and the black gifs with your monitor set on 800x600? I think esp. the 600x350 is really too big. I even think that with my monitor on 1280x960...

Yeah, I only just realized how big it was on here....but the second one is more than small enough.

Your signature that I made is 500 wide, and my old one was 550

...that is not too big, and is 550 wide.

I think the height limit needs to be more applied than the width. The height peter has now set is 350, which is the height of the first picture....but he set a width of 250, which is too small for banner type sigs which myself, Tash, Kev and others have.

Yep, I am now on 800 x 600, and the big one is too big, but the second one is fine:

...and anyway it was peter that set it to 350 high, which I don't mind....but 250 wide is crap. 600 onan 800 x 600 looks fine, so even setting it to a max of 550 would be acceptable for everyone.

Its going to make it harder to find good pics, but people should get used to it eventually, unless people start a revolution, or something not quite as dramatic.

Oh I can find plenty ways to annoy people with even a 250 x 350 picture if I have to resort to such childishness to get us larger pictures allowed. I will start making animated gifs again, but not compress them; so everyone will have to wait a long time to load pages with my picture on.

I think 350 is a good idea for a maximum height, but 250 wide???? That's insane

If you're not interested in the topic go away...I'm sure you've got binoculars to perve at people with.

....how original.

i think you're acting like a spoilt brat. it's only a signature pic for goodness sake. we had all this fuss last time with you moaning about people's sigs. if you have a problem, PM the appropriate person.

Spoilt brat? Other than this problem with signatures how often do I ever moan about anything or do anything like this?

I just want the ability to display my signature picture, which is of appropriate size, and now I cannot do that.

...and I have PM'ed the correct person, but wanted some other opinions on the matter.
