i know what you mean, but i mean a rainbow that you can still see, but that it's at night-time...

i mean i know that's impossible without sunlight etc... but i just mean the metaphorical image...

it's an image that's really struck me as quite powerful recently

****. How stupid can you get? It's about acceptance, NOT about being gay. It's universal, for everyone, NOT just for gays. If you associate rainbows with gays, you ARE racist. Rainbow is a mark for acceptance, that all people (all colors) can live together.

I'd still stick with my explanation. It's there even though it shouldn't, it's something you should go for, something to aim for. It's a price, a goal.

I don't know, it's about you really, what do you want it to mean?

They don't. You just don't get it. It's hasn't got anything to do with gays. It's a sign for everyone to accept each other. And if you do think rainbows are a sign for gays, then you ARE stupid.

Of course it doesn't make you racist!!

Gays are not a "RACE" - they are people...

in the same way people with red hair, or blond are not races...

if you are a white male and if you were to say you were gay it doesn't change your race...

Being racist doesn't have anything to do with race. It's about discrimination of any kind. The word used to mean discrimination by race now it's just discrimination. And if you say you associate rainbows with gays, it's just as much of a stereotype than "blondes are stupid", which is also discrimination.
