Slippery when frozen ;)

It's a very beautiful, sunny winter day here in Finland, and we were walking out on the sea with a digi cam. Here are some pictures we took.

It was some -2 celsius outside, but it's always very windy out on the sea, so we had to dress accordingly...


This is really a frozen sea (Gulf of Bothnia, part of Baltic Sea) with some of the coast line. You can basically walk straight to Sweden from here, it's some 100 kms.



A lot of people go walking or skiing here, especially on a beautiful Sunday afternoon like today.

this morning when i came back from the club (at 8.30am ) it was -5 centigrades it was freezing!!!!!!!!!! and i didnt have a jumper. only a very thin, almost see-throuh shirt and my coat

Hmmm....I'd love to see weather like that. Although only for a little while, like an hour or two. LOL. Today it was in the 70's and bright and sunny with a little breeze going. Gorgeous day. Welcome to Florida in the winter...............

Alright don't rub it in. Freezing here and rain for two days. Bet you are glad that you are down there! I am jealous!

Talking about the winter just reminded me of this thread. If the whole winter would be days like that one was, I wouldn't mind the 4-6 months of winter we have here. But unfortunately it's not
