Well, I both smoke and drink. That didn't sound very good... Drink occasionally, sometimes more, sometimes less (and the way I'm feeling now will never drink again). But on to the point.

Smoking is admittedly the more disgusting of the two, I hate the way I smell, and I think it's unfair for non-smokers, they are subjected to that around me. It's pointless, and literally money blown up in the air in smoke.

But re: Jim's point, alcohol is the more dangerous one, it's the cause of so many families torn apart, relationships destroyed, etc. And not only drunk drivers are the danger, I hate bringing this up but a while back you (Jim) punched someone with a beer glass - and said it was because of you'd been drinking. Stuff like that happens a lot, too much, and alcohol is what is doing that to them. In moderate, alcohol is not dangerous but when you (general you, not aimed at anyone) can't handle it, or when it takes over, or when it's too much, it's by far the more evil of the two.

Cigarettes are disgusting, but alcohol is the one causing more damage. Yes, cigarettes are a cause of some long-term diseases, but all in all, alcohol is the more dangerous one!

I apologise for this drunken rambling! Clearly proving that drinking is wrong because you end up posting things like this! Sorry. x

sorry but ur mistaken. have i hit someone when drunk yes, have i ever hit anyone with a bottle or glass? no and i never would no matter how drunk i was so u must be mistaking me for someone else.

if u can't fight with your hands you shouldnt be fighting at all and it hink that someone who will hit u with a bottle when drunk will just as easilly do it when sober.

* Jim, my apologies to you, I must've misunderstood one of your posts earlier, I'm sorry. Didn't mean to accuse you of anything, I've misread your post then and was incorrect.

But I don't think if you're likely to hit someone drunk, bottle or no bottle, you're just as likely to hit them sober. Provoked or not, when people are drunk they're more likely to act violently than when they're not under the influence of alcohol. And by that I don't mean that everybody are, I'm saying those who are violent drunk, aren't necessarily when they're sober.

I think if u drink reasonably it won't hurt a bit and some guys if they drunk till the head also won't provoked to voilence. I still think excess of drinking is really bad, but if u put together two evil, then i think smoking is worst of both.
