No fortunately, except my pride as a French male driver.

I wish insurance companies could do something about this as well
I just wish I could kick my own butt.

Well it was in a traffic jam on the motorway, so it was very unlikely anyone would get hurt, but that is the good news out of this, yes.

Nothing much here with me either. Though I'm going to two Bon Jovi shows in January!

Well, when it comes to driving, there is no "Outside of France" for a Frenchman. We tend to think the road is ours and that we're invincible. The shit only happens to others.

I'd like to believe I'm not like that but it is such an attitude that got me into that accident yesterday.

how do you 'kill' a car in a minor accident? If it got killed, you'd think it was a bit of a bigger accident than a fender bender?

Yes! The comments about being a French driver are plentiful. I remember taking a hi-speed train from Ottawa to Montreal and the train ran parallel to the highway. A car managed to keep pace with the train all the way into Montreal! However, this is not to say drivers in Ontario are better drivers.

Glad to hear that no one was injured in your accident, Ponrauil.
